UPS Ground and FedEx Ground are our standard methods of
shipment to destinations within the 48 contiguous U.S.
states. Please call us for shipping options to Alaska and
Hawaii. Sorry, we do not ship internationally. Many products
ship directly from the manufacturer. Most in-stock items
will ship in 3-5 Business days.

addresses within the U.S. States. Sorry for the

Out of Stock Merchandise
If for some reason an item on your order is temporarily
out of stock, we will give you a call or send you an
email. At that time, you can decide whether you want us
to backorder the item for you and hold your order. Then
as soon as the backordered item becomes available, it
will be shipped.

How to Place an Order
Shopping online at FireplaceScreensEtc
is convenient and extremely secure. Use your credit card and
order right here. Our secure servers protect credit card
information or other billing information you provide. When you
order online, we will send an e-mail confirmation of your
order and the tracking information once your order has been
shipped.
It is our policy to charge the credit card you provided, in
full, at the time of purchase. We also collect applicable
sales/use tax on merchandise sold in the state of North Carolina.

a message. Your call will be returned within 1 business day.

should include "Bill To" and "Ship To" information, the
product codes, description and price, quantity, method of
payment, and a phone number where we can contact you.

Product Returns & Exchanges
Your satisfaction is Guaranteed! If you are unhappy
with your purchase from FireplaceScreensEtc
you may return the item(s) for a refund or exchange within 30
days of your receipt. The item(s) must be in new condition,
unused and in original packaging material.
All items returned under this policy are eligible for a
refund. The full purchase price minus the original shipping
fees will be credited to the same form of payment used in
the original purchase. A re-stocking charge of up to 20% may
also apply. Return shipping costs are the responsibility of
the customer (unless the merchandise is defective, damaged
in transit, or a result of our error). Therefore customers
should insure all returns for the purchase price of the
product to protect you in the event of loss or damage.
All returns must have an RA (Return Authorization)
number. You can request an RA number by calling
1-877-416-6491 -or- 704-455-4936. If any of the items you
purchase from FireplaceScreensEtc
is defective, we will be happy to provide a replacement for
you. Please e-mail
or call us for return instructions.
Should you receive a product that appears to be damaged
in-transit, please contact us immediately. Be sure to have
your invoice, order number and shipment tracking number
available. We will file a claim with the carrier and order a
item replacement for you.
Special attention is needed for products shipped by motor
freight. It is important for you to inspect your
shipment carefully! Any damage made to the carton or
product itself, must be noted on the freight bill
BEFORE the driver leaves. You can either accept the
cartons as damaged or you can refuse them. If you do not
note damage on the freight bill, the freight carrier may
only accept partial responsibility for the merchandise. You
must understand that it is your responsibility to inspect
all goods before signing off on the shipment.

Order Cancellations
We will accept order cancellations within 24 hours of placing
your order. Orders cancelled after 24 hours may be charged to
your account if product shipment cannot be stopped. To cancel
an order, you must contact us at 1-877-416-6491 or-
704-455-4936. We will not accept a cancellation request via
e-mail or fax. FireplaceScreensEtc
will attempt to accommodate your request but cannot guarantee
cancellations made more than 24 hours after your order was
placed.
Refused shipments are considered to be merchandise returned
without an RA number.
In this case you will be responsible for the original
shipping charges, return shipping charges and any other fee
levied us by the shipper because of the refused
shipment. Additionally a 20% re-stocking fee may
apply.

How to Change Your Order
If you need to change something about your order, such as
shipping address, color, product or quantity, simply call FireplaceScreensEtc at 1-877-416-6491
or 704-455-4936. A customer service representative will ask
for your order number. If you do not have that handy, your
name and "bill to" information will be required. It is our
policy to send an e-mail confirming the change on the original
order.
Since your items could possibly ship the same day you placed
your order, we cannot guarantee your change will be made. FireplaceScreensEtc will notify you
immediately if a change cannot be made.

Sales Tax
Since FireplaceScreensEtc
is based in North Carolina, we are required to collect 7%
sales tax on all products shipped to a North Carolina address.
If your purchase is not shipped to an address within the state
of North Carolina, you pay NO SALES TAX!

FireplaceScreensEtc
will e-mail an invoice of your purchase to the address you
provided during your order. Your invoice will show a purchase
made from our website name, FireplaceScreensEtc.com, listed as
well. Your credit card is charged on the date of shipment and
your invoice will show your order paid in full.

Personalized Messages with Your
Order
Customers occasionally request personal messages to be
attached to their order because it is a gift. Since most of
our products ship directly from our manufacturers' warehouses,
we are unable to supply a personalized message with the actual
product. We apologize for this inconvenience.

Shipping Methods
We pay for ground shipping to your door, anywhere in the
contiguous United States. UPS and FedEx Ground
UPS and FedEx Ground are our standard methods of shipment to
destinations within the 48 contiguous states. Expedited
shipping AND shipping to Alaska and Hawaii are available.

details. Please note: Deliveries cannot be made to a
P.O. Box, a physical street address is required.
Motor Freight Delivery
When your product is too heavy or too large to ship via
UPS/FedEx, a motor freight carrier will be used. If your
purchase is being delivered via a motor freight service, you
will be contacted by the freight company via telephone 1-2
days prior to delivery to schedule a delivery appointment. You
will need to be present to sign for the item. All shipments
delivered via motor freight are brought to the curbside
only (unless additional services requested at
customer's expense). Please note the following important
details about Freight Delivery:
1) You will be responsible for moving the item into your home
once it has been removed from the truck at curbside. Freight
delivery personnel are not required to move the item beyond
curbside (some will do so if you ask politely and offer a
nice tip).
2) Additional costs may be incurred if you live on a small
street that is not accessible via a freight truck. In such
cases, the freight company will need to transfer your purchase
onto a smaller truck for delivery. If you know that large
moving trucks cannot access your street (a problem in some
cities and rural areas), you must contact us in advance of
placing your order so that we can notify the freight service
and obtain a cost estimate for you before you place your
order.
Please notify us at the time of order if you would like to
arrange inside delivery. We will get an estimate for this
extra service. You are responsible for paying these extra
charges.
It is important for you to inspect your shipment

Delivery Times
FireplaceScreensEtc
indicates most products ship within 3-10 business days after
your order has been placed. This is a standard time frame
(excluding weekends and Holidays) and often times, products
ship sooner. Some specialty items require additional shipping
times. The specific shipping delay time is noted by each
item in our store. Please be sure you know how long an item
takes to ship prior to placing your order.
We will provide you tracking details and the means of
transportation via e-mail when your order ships. For motor
freight transportation, the carrier will contact you 1 - 2
days prior to delivery to make a delivery appointment. Please
keep in mind, motor freight carriers will only deliver to the
curbside unless you requested inside service.
During the height of the busy season, you may find products to
be delayed. If a product is delayed beyond our normal shipping
times, we will notify you and give you an option to continue
to wait, change or cancel your order. We provide periodic
updates regarding backordered products to keep our customers
informed about their purchase.

Our Security Pledge To You
All online transactions at FireplaceScreensEtc
are handled with industry-standard SSL encryption. When you
enter your credit card number into the order form, it is
transmitted across the Internet in an encrypted (scrambled)
form, then decoded when it gets to us. For added security, we
also encrypt the credit card number when it is stored on disk.
If you are not the kind of person who worries about being hit by
lightning as you're crossing the street, you probably don't have
to worry that your credit card number will be intercepted on the
way to a secure Web site. According to CNN,
"The prevalent opinion...is that on-line
credit card use is actually no
riskier for consumers than traditional "low-tech"
transactions."
We personally order products online all the time, both as a
company and as individuals. When we use a credit card to buy
something online, we feel at least as safe as we would using
